Internship Program Details:
- We are seeking an intern who can start within the next few months.
- This is a full-time, paid internship lasting 6 months.
- This is a hybrid internship: Work onsite in our White Plains, NY office Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
- Work hours: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday. (40 hours/week)
What You’ll Do:
- Observe and review the functions of the Accounting department.
- Support the team by collecting statements, reconciling accounts, and requesting invoices and information.
- Contribute to the organization and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across the department.
- Aid the AR team with incoming checks; including scanning and creating an Excel file.
- Collaborate with the Accounting Analyst during month-end close activities and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Observe and test new reporting capabilities and system changes.
- Work closely with the VP of Accounting on various tasks and projects.
- Assist with the preparation and mailing of checks.
- Assist with transitioning vendors to ACH payments from checks (including Freixenet Mionetto USA and our sister winery, Gloria Ferrer) and phone verifications for any changes to banking instructions.
- Come up with ideas for efficiencies wherever possible, and offer creative uses for AI.
- Participate in additional ad hoc projects & backup support as needed.
Internship Requirements/Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a BA/BS degree or Masters in Finance or Accounting or a recent graduate.
- Able to work onsite at our White Plains, NY office Monday through Thursday.
- Can commit to a minimum of 6 months for the internship.
- Legally able to consume alcoholic beverages in the state of NY.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive team player with a go-getter attitude.
- Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Physical Requirements:
