Willamette Valley Vineyards is looking for an energetic team leader and customer-focused individual to join our Tualatin Estate Tasting Room. We are looking for Tasting Room Key Lead who hasΒ at least one yearΒ of experience in a Tasting Room or similar establishment.


Tasting Room LeadΒ Position Overview:

Our Tasting Room Leads are responsible for creating a world-class food and wine experience while delivering excellent customer service for guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve guests by pouring wines for tastings, taking orders, providing information to help with wine selections, and promoting the sale of wine, wine club memberships, and non-wine products.
  • Resolves customer service issues.
  • Assists in overseeing front-of-house staff schedules and trainings.
  • Serves as the Tasting Room Person in Charge (PIC)
  • Open and closing the Tasting Room as needed.
  • Cash handling and administrative tasks as requested from General Manager.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or similar.
  • Able to lift 40lbsm
  • Standing to serve wine tastings for long periods of time
  • A valid/current MAST and Food Handler’s Card (or be willing to obtain one prior to start date).
  • Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and on-site winery events. Most of these events are held over holiday weekends such as Memorial Day and Thanksgiving
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner.
  • Communicate through active listening skills and gather insight into human behavior.
