AΒ Tasting Room ReservationistΒ role in Woodinville, WA is available at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates (SMWE). As a Tasting Room Reservationist, you are the first point of contact for our guests. You set the tone for the winery experience and will ensure that every guest feels a positive and genuine connection with the winery. Daily, you will have the opportunity to delight guests by discussing options and booking in-person experiences for their special occasion.


This a part time role that will require weekend availability.Β Β

Tasting Room Reservationist responsibilities include:



  • Answer guest calls via phone queue regarding winery experiences, etc while providing accurate information about the company/winery.

  • Responsible for scheduling and choreography of appointments utilizing the ReServe platform ensuring that the flow is appropriate for the space restrictions of the tasting room.

  • Provide accurate information about our wine club and mailing list while encouraging guests to sign up.

  • Various opening and closing duties as related to the POS system.

  • Assist management with the effective, tactful and professional enforcement of various winery policies regarding guest use of the facility.

  • Operate POS/registers to collect payments for winery experiences.

  • Utilize proper safety and sanitation techniques at all times (i.e. handcart, lifting, glass handling, cleaning/sanitizing protocols etc.).


Physical Requirements:



  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

  • Stand, walk for extended periods of time


Position Requirements:



  • Must be 21 years of age or over with a high school diploma or equivalent.

  • 1+ years of customer service experience required (retail/hospitality preferred).Β 

  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office and Point of Sales (POS) systems.

  • Excellent communication, customer service, and sales skills with the ability to prioritize while handling multiple tasks.

  • Ability to speak comfortably and audibly in front of groups.

  • History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.


Your Compensation:Β 


$18.79 - $24.42Β per hour based upon relevant experience.
