Pirtle Winery in Weston, MO is currently hiring part time for winery staff in our tasting room and our coming soon food and wine bar directly across the street from the winery. Wine sales associates must be 21 yrs or older. We will consider under the age of 21 for food prep, busing, and kitchen staff. Hours are flexible overall. We open at 10am most days and close at 6/7pm. Weekends allow for staff staggered start times between the hours of 10am-2pm. Staff can typically expect to work until close and assist with closing duties as a team but exceptions can be made for an earlier end time for a shift if that is discussed in advance and fits staffing needs. On some occasions, there are opportunities to work after hour events and parties. We consider all applicants. Some of our current staff work every weekend while others only work a couple of Saturdays a month while they also hold a full-time weekday job. Some weekend availability is required especially during the peak months of fall. Our winery offers a fun, entertaining, and educational experience and our staff reflects this! No wine knowledge is required and we will train and educate on our wines and processes during the training period. We have an all hands on deck approach and all staff are trained and expected to be able to work and complete all the daily duties at the winery in addition to sales/serving. We are looking for fun, friendly, hard workers that can work in a fast paced environment. Must be able to lift at least 40lbs, We are a 45 yr old family owned and operated business and we want our staff and customers to feel that they too are a part of our family and never want to leave!
